IPod and Mobile Phone?

This one is going to be a gadget freaks delight. A mobile phone and IPod combo, from Motorola and Apple. Forbes reports that such a product is imminent. There were rumors earlier, but now this seems more close to reality, as early as early 2005. For people like me who are crazy about mobile phones, and also about music, this is going to be a jaw dropping experience.

The only problem, as far as I am concerned is, I am not too fond of Motorola phones. Specially because these are Typical American company product. When whole world has “cancel call” button on the right, they have it on the left. Ditto with rest of the functionality. Its difficult even for a near ambidextrous like me.

We have seen a few music players on phone thingies earlier, but none of them really appealed, major reasons being the memory and the battery standby time constraint.

Knowing Apple’s knack for bringing out revolutionary design, I guess we have a great product coming our way.
